About us
The Campaign for Bulgaria ’s Abandoned Children was created in response to the broadcasting of Kate Blewett’s harrowing documentary that exposed the bleak existence that children lived (and died) at Mogilino Institute.
Initially we set up a trust but we have been able to join forces with an established charity, The Bulgaria Project and our campaign is now run with full charitable status.
Our aim is to be a voice for the children who have been abandoned by their parents and live under state care. We are dedicated to improving the lives of the children at Mogilino Institute and beyond.
