Canadian supporter Rick Witiuk and his son Chris have successfully completed a 300 mile bike trip to raise money for Bulgaria's Abandoned Children.

Following the well known route of the Underground Railroad Canadian Terminus, Rick and Chris started their challenge in historic Fort Erie, taking in Niagara Falls and Georgian Bay before finishing in Owen Sound Ontario. The father and son team completed the 300 mile trip in 5 days, enjoying the breathtaking scenery and camping along the way.

Explaining his reasons for undertaking the trip Rick said, 'The impression the documentary left on me has moved me to raise whatever money I can to support the Campaign to improve the lives of these helpless human beings.'

Siobhain Santry from TBACT said 'It’s wonderful to see people from all over the world making a difference to the lives of children in other countries and we are incredibly grateful to Rick and Chris for their heroic efforts to help.'
